The New 2016 AC Cobra: is powered by a 2.6-liter turbocharged/intercooled 4-cylinder BOXER engine that employs the Dual Active Valve Control System. The engine, which is exclusive to the Cobra model, produces 315 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of peak torque of 4,000 rpm.

The New 2016 AC Cobra: engine is teamed exclusively with a specially reinforced Six-speed manual transmission, which includes a short-throw shifter in the New 2016 AC Cobra: special Edition model.
