Expected Release Date of the New ''2018 Plymouth GTX'': September, 2017
The second generation 2018 Plymouth GTX seemed almost identical to the first generation, but includes major improvements the powertrain: electric power steering with a new V6. 2018 Plymouth GTX will have a better brake feel, returned shocks and bushings, better tire options and a new steering wheel with audio controls.
The new 2018 V6 Plymouth GTX engine added 55 hp 3.5 V6 outgoing, with 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque; yet, it is expected to reach 27 mpg on the highway [We predicted 26-30]. The standard V8 engine was also bumped to 380 hp and 410 lb-ft (manual); it now gets 18 mpg city, 25 highway (automatic). The (6.4 liters) is rated at 470 hp 470 lb-ft. Both V8 coupe four cylinder engines when not required (except with manual transmission).
The increase of 13 horsepower in the new 2018 Plymouth GTX with a new engine is due to a "more aggressive air intake system designed" which increased airflow from 214 to 220 g / l. The cam shaft is identical.
Safety and security – 2018 Plymouth GTX Release Date Specs
• direction of traction control senses all-speed wheel spin and applies brakes to wheel slippage; reduces excess engine torque until traction is gotten
• Antilock brake system (ABS): ABS modulates the four brakes Advanced individually for optimum control and braking of the 2018 Plymouth GTX performance
• Brake Assist: In an emergency braking condition, the system applies maximum braking power, providing the shortest possible stopping distance
• Improved system accident is easier for emergency personnel to see and reach occupants in the event of an accident by turning on interior lights and unlocking doors after air-bag deployment. Cup also the fuel flow to the engine
• High-intensity discharge: nearly three times the light output of standard lamps
• Strengthens knee: The lower instrument panel and the position of the glove box door the occupant, enabling air bags to work effectively
• Engine immobilizer: the ignition key with integrated transponder security code. When the key is inserted into the ignition, the controller sends a random number to the transponder and the engine is allowed to start. If an incorrect key is used, the motor stops after a few seconds.
