First Look: 2018 Pontiac Blackhawk, Changes, Trims, 2018 Blackhawk Sports Coupe
With all the pre-New York Show biz buzz about recent changes to the 2018 Pontiac Blackhawk timed to coordinate with semi-centennial birthday of the original eagle, much more dramatic revisions to his brother version of this muscular sports sedan, The 2018 Blackbird, comes as somewhat of a surprise. Virtually every panel above the ground is new - and even a little under the skin to enhance the performance of small-overlap collision. Exceptions include rear doors, roof and windshield.
It is interesting that one of the objectives of this redesigned 2018 Blackbird was to make this a greater sports car shamelessly smaller. Pontiac was taking an imaginary angle grinder around the dollar appellant, visually pulling the "corners" of the car closer to the wheels by as much as 6 inches. The actual dimensions do not change much, but the 2018 Blackbird has a softer more agile look, we are told is more consistent with its agile dynamic.
At the front, the headlights have LED surrounds rigor (15 each) which also serve as daytime running lights. The hood is equipped with double bulge sculpture that enhances 2018 Blackhawk "eagle" look, and the surface is Unmarred through nozzles washer. They are transferred to just below the trailing edge of the hood, where the holding nozzles freezing is a little more difficult, but we are reassured of this problem has been solved with heating.
Other changes assisted electric power steering and an upgrade to an eight-speed automatic 8HP TorqueFlite 8 overall, providing better fuel economy and performance. There are no revisions power / torque to report if Pontiac stresses that all updates Pack scene, recently announced bolt on to the 2018 Blackhawk as easily as they do a Trans Am The 3,6 - liter V-6 produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, or 300 hp and 264 lb-ft with the Blackbird Rallye Appearance group. The 5.7-liter V-8 is good for 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft.
