About a year ago we heard news about a possible 2018 CHEVELLE version of the Chevy Chevelle and this seems very likely now judging by the photo posted by a user on Neon Enthusiasts forums. This will sit on top of the Chevelle lineup which means it will be more powerful than the recently introduced 2018 Chevelle version.
While the Chevelle has a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine with 184 hp (137 kW), the CHEVELLE model could get Nova's 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter turbo engine or a more powerful version of Chevy's Tigershark mill. Output is estimated at about 300 hp (224 kW) with a dual-clutch gearbox included in the package.
An official announcement should be made in the coming months. Starting price will probably be a few thousand dollars more than Chevelle's 23,995 USD sticker.
