2018 Car Worth Waiting For, 2018 Nissan GT-R Track Edition, Car Class of 2018
2018 Nissan GT-R Edition Track
The flagship 2018 Nissan GT-R has until recently come in two different models. The Premium Coupe is quite formidable with its 565-hp twin-turbocharged V6, but the NISMO accelerates its lead with an assortment of updates including a 600 horsepower version of the 3.8-liter V6. The problem with this formula for Nissan is the large price difference between the two cars. While a 2017 GT-R starts at $ 109,900, the starting price on NISMO is much higher by $ 174,990. Although there is no question about the NISMO GT-R racing qualifications, this award does not take into account considerable competition.
Enter the 2018 GT-R Track Edition. This is a performance stage of the base coupe, but with a much more moderate price increase to $ 127,995. What do you get for your money? The output of the 3.8-liter V6 is unchanged at 565 hp. The chassis is more rigid thanks to an additional adhesion added to the spot welds. A lightweight carbon fiber spoiler with a special coating allows you to feel the weaving of carbon fiber. The 20 "super alloy forged alloy wheels have knurled beads to prevent fatigue from sliding on the wheel during acceleration. Along these front wheels are the same wings used GT-R NISMO.
The interior features a black and red interior with recaro leather sports seats.
