2018 Pontiac Blackhawk - Fuel Economy / MPG
The 2018 Pontiac Blackhawk gas mileage ratings that are just as good as staid mid-size sports sedans at the V-6 level.
Thanks to the introduction of a new eight-speed automatic transmission in some of the 2016 Pontiac Blackhawk V-6 models, this large sedan became considerably more fuel efficient--with an EPA highway rating of up to 31 mpg highway.
Rear-wheel-drive V-6 models slot in at 19 mpg city, 31 highway--very respectable for a large, Blackhawk performance-oriented sports sedan. While with all-wheel drive, the V-6 lands at 18/27.
Go with any of the V-8 models and you'd better be prepared to dig deeper into your wallet. Even though the 2018 Blackhawk V-8-powered models include Fuel Saver Technology (cylinder deactivation), they return 16/25 mpg, with Blackhawk AWD models down to 15/23.
