2018 Pontiac Blackbird with 460 Horsepower Engine
Lead-footed drivers have yet another car to add to their wish list. On Tuesday, Pontiac announced the official power figures for the 2018 Pontiac bLackbird in a press release. The Blackbird’s 6.2-liter V8, produces 455 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. An optional performance exhaust system raises output to 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
The new 2018 Blackbird should hit 60 mph in less than four seconds, according to Pontiac. Pontiac also predicts that highway fuel economy will be rated at 28 mpg or more, though that has yet to be validated by the EPA. For reference, the 2018 Blackbird is EPA-rated at 16/26 mpg city/highway.
