Expected Release Date of the New 2016 Honda HR-V: August, 2015
Honda dealers are preparing to receive the new small urban SUV that will complement the Mazda CX-3, Buick Encore, Chevrolet Trax, Nissan Juke and Fiat 500L.
Mainly developed from the platform of the new Fit, the 2016 Honda HR-V will slip under the CR-V which it borrows many design elements, but a small one. The wheelbase is relatively long compared to the overall length of the vehicle which will enable the 2016 Honda HR-V to be particularly roomy. The engine will be the one against by the Civic with a four-cylinder 138 horsepower and 127 pounds of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT. The manufacturer also confirms that AWD will be part of the catalog of options.
