New 2019 Ford Tourneo Courier Review, Price, Feature, Photos
The 2019 Ford Tourneo Courier is the smallest vehicle in the Tourneo range. Based on the same platform as the Fiesta and the B-Max, it combines the load amplitude of a van with the versatility of a small minivan. Due to its size it is a very valid alternative to them or to the SUV of the B segment, since It is spacious, the entry and exit of the vehicle is very comfortable (through two huge sliding doors in the rear seats) and has many practical solutions, such as a large console for documents and small laptops or the storage drawer under the seat of the driver.
It stands out for its load capacity. Occupying its five seats, no less than 708 litres of luggage, with a tray that can divide it into two parts. The bench can be folded in two parts to achieve 1,656 litres of capacity. The only thing is that these rear seats do not move longitudinally and the passenger seat can not be folded down to carry long loads, which reduces some versatility.
It can be chosen with turbocharged mechanics with direct injection and coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox: a gasoline engine, the 1.0 Ecoboost of 100 HP with three cylinders (somewhat noisy) and two diesel, the 1.5 TDCi of 75 HP and 1.6 TDCi of 95 CV (that announce very low consumption). On the move it looks a lot like a tourist, with a good suspension, pulling hard with what stands out for its stability. In the city it is very easy to maneuver with him in small spaces.
The equipment possibilities are wider than what we usually see in cars of this type. When it arrived on the market, in the summer of 2018, it was possible to choose between two levels of equipment: Trend (only with the gasoline engine and the less powerful diesel) and the Titanium (associated with petrol and diesel with 95 HP). The most basic includes elements such as six airbags, tire pressure warning, climate control, speed programmer, automatic connection of lights, USB device reader and Bluetooth. The most equipped includes elements that improve its appearance and can mount the Techno SYNC Pack (with browser, rear camera and greater connectivity). Shortly after, a third finish was added, the Environment, more spartan and focused on professional use.
