New 2019 Fiat Panda, Review, Photos, Price, Features
If the 2019 Fiat 500 conquers the public eager to personalize its car, the Panda takes off the streets to those who are looking for habitability and functionality. In fact, it is larger than the previous model, the Fiat Panda 2004. In 2013 it was the second most sold segment A car, with 5,338 units.
Launched in 2012, we went to Naples (where it is manufactured) to perform a test of the Fiat Panda we could see the spaciousness of its cabin, the highest in the category. It has a trunk of 225 liters more than good (expandable to 260 liters by moving the rear bench seat two seats). We also saw how well it worked between the chaotic Neapolitan traffic on a rainy day (we tested the 1.3 hp diesel engine with 75 hp, although the star propulsion engines are the 1.2 petrol with 69 hp and the 0.9 twin-cylinder with 85 hp). It also has a variant that can work with GLP, the Panda Natural Power.
As well as the 2019 Fiat 500 has enhanced variants (Abarth) and convertibles (500c), the Panda has an off-road variant, the Fiat Panda 4x4, a model with three generations behind him and which is very suitable to exit the asphalt, as We were able to check in our test. At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, an even more capable version was presented, the Fiat Panda Cross, which joins the conventional 4x4 and the Panda Trekking (front-wheel drive with decorative elements close to the 4x4)
