Infiniti Project Black S: A Q60 Hybrid 571 hp Supercar
Infiniti is about to unveil a new concept of high performance coupe derived from the Q60 series. It develops 563 hp, thanks to a hybrid system incorporating technologies from F1.
If Infiniti does not have a stand at the Mondial de Paris, the Japanese brand will still be present at the event, on the stand called "Mondial Limited". She will take the opportunity to present a new prototype Project Black S, following that of the Geneva Motor Show 2017.
Still based on the Q60 series coupe we know, this second concept does not seem to evolve really on the aesthetic level. The Black S, however, retains a beautiful aggressiveness, including its front shield with large air intakes or its large rear spoiler.
On the other hand, there is something new about the technical sheet! If the V6 3.0 biturbo under the hood still provides 405 hp, the hybrid system that is associated with it now can raise the power level to 571 hp, against 500 hp on the concept of 2017.
Technologies from F1
It consists of three electric motors and still benefits from a kinetic energy recovery braking system, but also recovery of the heat energy of the exhaust gas. These technologies are derived from F1 and have been developed with the Renault Sport Formula One team.
In terms of performance, Infiniti announces that this Project Black S can shoot down 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4 s. It remains to be seen when this car will pass the milestone of mass production ... There is no doubt that its Germanic competitors are waiting for it.
