Nissan has unveiled at the Hanover Hall a new concept based on the Navara, this time designed to tow a telescope, to facilitate the observation of the universe in remote places.

This Nissan Navara towed a powerful telescope to be able to use it in remote places and away from light pollution.
The Nissan Navara Dark Sky Concept has been designed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), who has provided the PlaneWave long-range telescope. This telescope is transported in a controlled, refrigerated atmosphere, which allows to keep it stable and calibrated during the trip.

The roof of the trailer opens to give space to the telescope, which allows to observe details of the universe beyond the rings of Saturn.
The trailer has a roof that opens mechanically to allow the telescope to observe the space in detail. The Navara equips a group of portable batteries that supply the power needed to power the Wi-Fi network, laptops or the UHF transmission system.

The upholstery has orange and reflective motifs, which make it possible to dispense with the interior light so as not to disturb the observation of the cosmos.
The Nissan Navara Dark Sky Concept has an interior with details inspired by the cosmos, such as the drawings inspired by the nebula or the orange tones of the upholstery, which reflect the light to give visibility to the interior without the need for ambient light, which would negatively affect the observation.
