2017 SEAT Ateca - new 2017 crossover
At 2016 Geneva Motor Show this year, SEAT has presented its first crossover ever. He was appointed Ateca (after the village in Spain) and will rival the class "leadership Nissan Qashqai. In fact new Ateca has already been presented to a number of journalists at a private party in Barcelona.
2017 SEAT Ateca - Platform, exterior and interior
2017 Ateca is based on the global Volkswagen MQB platform. It is 4360 mm long, which makes 20 mm shorter than the Qashqai, the wheelbase is estimated at 2,640 mm (identical to Leo), while the width is 1,840 mm and height 1600 mm. New Seat Atreca provides space for five passengers and 510 liters of boot space, making it the leader in the class. Regarding design and style, the new SUV has the well-known lines already seen on Leon and design inspiration was 20V20 concept last year. The interior is also very similar to that of Leon.

2017 SEAT Ateca available with FWD standard while the AWD option will be offered later. Engine range will consist of gasoline and diesel units already well known. It starts with 1.0- and 1.4 TSI petrol engines power liter to 113 hp and 148 hp. Diesel fans will be able to choose from three units- TDI 1.6 liter with 113 hp and the 2.0-liter version with 148 hp or 187 hp. The six-speed manual transmission is standard, while 7-speed automatic is optional.

2017 Seat Ateca is the first of four new models that the Spanish car manufacturer has planned for the next two years and it should be in showrooms in September and have the same price as the Qashqai.
