ASTON MARTIN VALKYRIE 2021: PRICE, Review AND PHOTOS
We know that Aston Martin has always opted for sports and high-end vehicles. However, this time they have decided to go a little (or a lot) further. With the Aston Martin Valkyrie they want to enter the world of hypercars, to compete with other beasts such as the Bugatti Veyron or the supercar of Koenigsegg.
Aston Martin Valkyrie 2021: technical sheet
From the union of two brands such as Aston Martin and Red Bull, only something good can come out. The two companies have joined in an initiative called Innovation Partnership, which has already begun to pay off. And spectacular results, by the way.
And is that the first product of this collaboration will be the Aston Martin Valkyrie, a model whose production will begin in 2018 and will continue to have versions until 2021. But, what is special about this Aston Martin Valkyrie? The answer is simple. It is one of the most impressive supercars in the market.
Aston Martin has taken the final step towards supercars with this model that has features that are hard to believe. To cite some of them, the vehicle will be able to overcome 400 km / h and accelerate from 0 to 320 km / h in just 10 seconds. No wonder that it reaches these benefits if we consider that it will have an engine with a power of ... 1,130 CV!
It is a vehicle of which only 150 units will be manufactured, of which 125 will be street versions and another 25 will be destined to circuit. And this Aston Martin Valkyrie is much closer to an LMP1 prototype than anything else. It would even be able to overcome the benefits of these.
Of course, another highlight is the design of the vehicle. It is an innovative model, futuristic in appearance, and unmistakably reminiscent of a Le Mans prototype or similar models. Special emphasis has been placed on aerodynamic issues. We must remember that in this sense has been invaluable help from Red Bull, one of the F1 teams that make better chassis and better handle aspects of aerodynamics.
Aston Martin Valkyrie 2021: price
This Aston Martin Valkyrie is a very ambitious project in which no expense has been spared, with the aim of placing itself in the highest position in the most select segment of the industry. From the own Aston Martin they have indicated that they were willing to lose money with this model, and that they would be lucky if they were able to cover expenses.
At least they have managed to sell all the units, and at a not inconsiderable price of 2.8 million euros. Compared with other supercars, the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse costs around 2.5 million euros, and the Koenigsegg Regera 2.3 million. Anyway, at these levels I guess those differences are nothing but small change.
