2017 Hyundai i-oniq Concept Price

2017 will mark a breakthrough year as Hyundai, South Korean automakers are set to release the Hyundai i-oniq, a global green car model on the market. The i-oniq term is coined from the great and unique words; where an ion is a charged atom positively electric, emphasizing the "unique" in the global electric car design. With Hyundai yet to release other specifications to the public, the model is still in the public debate in the world of motorcycling. The model is however the first green car to have three different electrical systems and will revolutionize the green car industry.

2017 Hyundai i-oniq - Exterior and Interior and Design

Said as an answer to the Prius, outside the 2017 Hyundai i-oniq design adopts a 4-door sedan with full rear hatched, low roof and beltline up. The length of the car is approached to be 176 inches long, with width still measures to be released. The rear window is also low giving the car an optimized aerodynamic configuration. It will be further facilitated by the presence of low friction tires to reduce drag. For the interior, Hyundai opted for a more futuristic and elegant design. To improve efficiency and power, the Hyundai i-oniq has a gasoline engine three-cylinder 1.0-liter that serves as a generator and increases its range of electric driving up to 75 miles. Hyundai also claims that the IC operation has a maximum range of up to 400+ miles, although confirmation of these said statistics are still unproven. Other performance characteristics such as fuel consumption have yet to be released by the company.

2017 Hyundai i-oniq - Price and Release Date

The 2017 release date Hyundai I-oniq has not been confirmed to the public. However, the release date has been speculated pinned to be released in 2017 employees within the company. There is also the planned date of arrival at the Auto Show in Geneva and New York Auto Show in March 2016. The price of the model has not been released to the public too and the price range has not yet been determined by experts. However, with respect to the Prius, it's supposed to be quite affordable and is primarily the population of the middle class of America.
