2017 VW XL1 Concept
The 2017 VW XL1 car is a concept, and a piece of science fiction comes to life. It is one of the most fuel efficient cars in the line of the Volkswagen production. It is sleek, lightweight and therefore this design can consume relatively less fuel. The car may have once been legendary but today it is a reality. The XL1 concept was unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show. The previous model namely the 1-Liter debuted in 2002 as the predecessor of the L1 concept that appeared in 2009. The old models of the XL1, 1-Liter, L1 and used an engine minutes diesel and were designed to cover 60 miles while on one liter of fuel. In pursuit of a more marketable approach, the XL1 has added a hybrid plug-in.

The unique design, unusual body VW XL1 Concept from 2017 was inspired by the car L1 Concept. This car has similar footprints than the Mazda 2, but the height is just similar to the Gallardo. 2017 VW XL1 Concept Body dimensions are 153.1 inches long, 45.5 inches in total height and a wheelbase of 87.6 inches for better control of the car at high speed. The car creates a slippery 0.19 coefficient. The car body is constructed from materials such as carbon fiber. The total weight of 2017 VW XL1 Concept is about 1753 pounds, and has been instrumental in using magnesium wheels, suspensions of aluminum and ceramic brake discs. Approximately 406 pounds total weight is represented by the use of steel or iron. The two large doors available fights against the pillar of showy and easier access. Furthermore, the bubble as the greenhouse body and the rear ends sharply tapered give the car a more attractive look as well as help in achieving outstanding Cd.
From the inside, the cabin is equipped with two bucket seats and the car can comfortably accommodate two occupants. A unique feature is that the passenger seat of the car is mounted slightly further back relative to the seat. Although small, the interior overall is big enough and offers enough space for added comfort. A flat-bottomed steering wheel is available for the VW XL1 Concept in 2017, and additional interior features include; IPod -style digital screens and mirrors.

Being a hybrid car, it has two alternative sources of power and performance under the hood. The car starts silently by the built-in battery to an electric motor. A fully charged battery is included, and the battery charge is considered CO2 neutral. 5 kWh battery power available to provide 141 mpg efficiency is guaranteed. Alternatively, with the 10-liter tank, the effectiveness of the actual car is 310 miles with a full battery charge and the maximum assistance from the electric motor of the range soar to about 688 miles. A box of double clutch 7-speed DSG programmed to operate automatically only is available.
