You can expect about 28 miles per gallon in travel on the roads. This model is said to be better on paved roads, but can still manage snow, sand, mud and rocks with ease. Fuel economy will fall under these conditions however.
This model will be available from 2015 and should be phased in the middle of 2016 as Chrysler is trying to do its lean production lines. The Patriot is also said to be on the chopping block right now.
It is said that these models will be replaced by the new fellow C-SUV. While not much is known about the new design, he believes he will offer the same 2.4L engine and will probably run on diesel. Speculation is that it will provide a roomier interior and softer lines. Chrysler is working with Fiat on the new model.
