2016 Fiat 500X Price starts at $ 20,000
After its debut at the Paris Motor Show, the new Fiat 500X will be 2,016 on the Los Angeles Auto show booth, becoming the third American model of stable growth of the Italian automaker. But Fiat is looking for its new 500X to stand out in the compact crossover segment growing with its distinctive brand personality of the Italian and two engine options and four wheel drive.
The basic version of the 2016 Fiat 500X will include as standard a 160-hp, 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged inline-four engine capable of 184 lb-ft of torque. It is paired exclusively with a drive six-speed manual transmission and standard front wheel. The 2.4-liter Tigershark inline-four engine (180 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque) is coupled to an automatic transmission with nine speeds and has a standard front wheel drive and all-wheel drive available. The all-wheel drive system is equipped with a rear axle disconnect, allowing the 2016 Fiat 500X to selectively distribute power to the rear wheels as needed, improving fuel economy in the process.
Fuel economy numbers are not yet available from the EPA, but the final grades are likely to match those of the Jeep Renegade. Jeep said he expects the Renegade to return north of 30 mpg on the highway with the option of either engine.
Five trim levels will be offered on 2016 Fiat 500X, including Pop, Easy, Lounge, Trekking, Trekking and More. The base trim, Pop is the only flavor of 500X available with six-speed manual transmission and 1.4-liter turbo engine, although customers can also opt for the biggest Pop 2.4-liter mill. Higher trim levels add technology and safety equipment such as front collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross detecting obstacle, a touch Uconnect infotainment system 6.5 inch mobile connectivity, a color TFT dash 3.5 inch without key entrance, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
