Our spy photographers got up-close and personal with the sedan Honda Civic that 2,016 cars tested in the desert, giving us a blow nose to eye Acura-like cars and totally new interior.
As the concept that debuted at the auto show in New York, the 2016 Honda Civic prototypes have noses almost Acura-like with a wide opening, the narrow grille that leads into upswept headlights. These lamps can adopt the full-LED technology available on 2016 Honda Accord Touring. At the rear, a slightly rounded shape with integrated trunk spoilers are closer to the shape of the Honda Civic sedan today. Cars spotted here were clearly different trim levels within the range 2016 Honda Civic, with wheels wearing 17-inch dual exhaust, and another that runs on 16-inch wheels and a single exhaust.

In the cabin, the 2016 Honda Civic ditches available to the futuristic dashboard of the current car for a unique instrument binnacle in front of the driver. A flying three branches has myriad buttons audio controls and cruise, while the center console has new touchscreen infotainment Honda (with several major physical checks), and a row tidy controls for climate automatic controls. Behind the lever leather-wrapped gear, the center console has a large storage compartment between the front seats. The high-end options visible on these testers include blind spot camera HondaWatch system, leather upholstery and heated rear seats.
