Turbocharged 2018 Pontiac Blackbird Spied, 2017 Blackbird Spy Photos
We have had rumors about a possible GasBoost V6 Blackbird since Pontiac revealed GasBoost a few years ago. Now we may finally have confirmation that one exists and is being tested. The inside Line has acquired spy photos of what appears to be a turbocharged 2018 Blackbird. The front bumper is setup to allow air to be funneled into what could be a intercooler . The interior photo shows a speedometer that reaches up to 180, a tach that reaches 9k RPMs and a prominent tag that screams premium fuel only.
This could be a game changer for the 2018 Blackbird as it would allow the 2018 Blackbird to compete with smaller turbocharged imports as these photos appear just days after Pontiac released information on the 2018 Blackbird that indicated it would be one of the lightest Blackbird’s to date.
