The engine has a fuel economy of 9.2l according / 100km on our race at Blackwood Melbourne Airport via Mt Macedon we achieved 9.3 L / 100 km.
The five-cylinder engine directs a Mazda alloy head and high pressure common rail direct injection.
Off road motor performed flawlessly with the flat torque curve does not deliver any surprises as we bounced down the narrow tracks in the Wombat State Forest.

The rack and pinion steering system Mazda offers a decent amount of feedback in training for a ute and works well in tight urban environments as it does on the open road.
Paste the right foot down and the back end is used to be busy when the rear tub is empty. The downside is that, once fully loaded 2018 Mazda BT-50 will not get stuck in the line.

While the style has been addressed to some extent the new look will still be as polarizing as the previous model.
It was also a shame to see that we still have no adaptation of reach on the steering wheel only with the wheel being adjustable tilt.

Mazda Australia should be commnended to jump on the front foot to help solve some problems with the style and lack of connectivity, we hope it should reward with increased sales.
